The following common motions will be utilized to move the Convention business
to a conclusion:
Main Motions: debatable17. Not more than two amendments to any question shall be pending at one time; but after disposal of one or both of them, additional amendments may be proposed.Amendments: debatable
To refer: not debatable, except on the propriety
To rescind: debatable, two-third (2/3) vote, prior notice required
To table a motion: not debatable
To stop a debate: not debatable, two-third (2/3) vote
To limit debate: not debatable, two-third (2/3) vote
To challenge Chair: the motion is "Shall the decision of the Chair be upheld?"
18. All unfinished business of the Convention shall be turned over to the Executive Board.
